This practical, self-paced course takes you from idea to a business that makes money, grows and lasts. It is built around the realities of doing business in Ghana and across Africa: mobile money and WhatsApp customers, market suppliers, the cedi, registration with the ORC and GRA, FDA requirements, and funding options from susu to banks, government programmes and investors.
You follow four businesses, from a sobolo maker in Madina to a shea butter group near Tamale, and apply every lesson to your own. Each lesson has a short video, reading notes with local examples, a worksheet or Excel tool, and a quiz. Lesson by lesson you build a complete business plan, a three-minute pitch and a 12-month growth plan.
Study on your phone or computer, whenever it suits you. Most learners finish in about eight weeks with three short sessions a week.
